Causes of White Smoke

  1. Engine Overheating.
  2. Blown head gasket.
  3. Cracked engine block.

Precautions for White Smoke

Engine Overheating :- Check any small leak in the coolant can lead to overheating and serious risk of damage to the car engine.

Blown Head Gasket :- Most head gasket leaks are internal to the engine allowing coolant to flow into the combustion chamber on every intake stroke. When this happens to coolant burns/ evaporates with combustion process and appears as white smoke coming from the tailpipe.

Cracked Engine Block :- Cracked block will almost always cause a cooling system leak and start very slowly. Sometimes it will be so slow that you will only be able to notice the leak when your car is warm and it will just look like a small amount of steam.

Causes of Black Smoke

  1. Burnt Engine.
  2. Clogged Air Filter.
  3. Fault in Sensor, Fuel Injection, Fuel Pressure Regulator. 

Precaution for Black Smoke

Burnt Engine :- Check the valve seal may be broken from edge of the valve where leak in combustion process.

Clogged Air Filter :- Check the air filter if possible clean it otherwise change with then new one. Mostly from pressurize air gun the clogged is removed.

Fault in Sensor :- May be clogged in fuel return line in fuel injector or fuel pressure regulator, Better to change or clean the fuel injection system.
